Why?
I first became interested in SC II while working on my school's newspaper with a friend. He was writing a review of the game and I, of course, kept having to hear him talk about it. But the game eventually intrigued me, and hey, Link was in it! I got the game once it came out, and loved it. I can't say I've ever really been into fighting games (aside from SSBM, but that doesn't count :P), but SC II surprised me; it was fun to play, had surprisingly interesting characters and ooh~ historical references!

Anyway, once I started playing, I found myself using Talim a lot. I liked her fast and short-range fighting style (basically because I'm a spaz and my only strategy is "run up and beat the crap out of the enemy.") and I loved her 2P costume for some reason (though, I though she was wearing cat ears at first?). I think all the characters in the game have interesting stories and personalities (okay, not Necrid... and Voldo scares the crap out of me), but I found Talim the most likeable character in the game. She's kind and modest, and has her share of corny lines, but she totally kicks ass at the same time ;D. Like I mention in the personality section, she manages to be an innocent and kind character without being ditzy or overly naive. Plus, she offers the least amount of female fanservice :P. I searched the 'net for any Talim shrines, and found none, so I decided to create Whirlwind :).
