Weapons
Talim fights with "elbow blades," which are essentially modified forms of tonfa. Tonfa are traditional weapons that
supposedly originated in Okinawa, although they appear in Indonesian, Filipino, and Thai culture. The weapons consist of a shaft that
lies on the forearm, which usually extends past the elbow, and a handle. Tonfa are usually used in pairs. Also, police nightsticks are based off of
the tonfa design. Talim fights with tonfa that have blades attached, but her arsenal does include regular wooden tonfa.
